By the fire

I think it was Sunday night by the fire, because we had spent the day at the waterfall and I almost kissed him there by the waterfall. I spotted him by the fire that evening after K was in bed, playing didgerido. We nodded to one another, and I danced, and the night went on. Sometimes I would look for him and not see him, but then I could hear the didge sound and I knew he was nearby. I was totally trying to find an opportunity to go finally kiss him. One time I thought I had the opportunity but I saw he was playing, so I waited. Then he took his shirt off. I wanted to catch him before he started again. I grabbed my beaver-fur earmuffs and ran over to him. I started rubbing the earmuffs on his bare chest and he really liked it. He started dancing with me and just moved into the fire and the beat with me. It was lovely and my mind was sort of blown away. I just kept thinking, OMG he's dancing with me, how amazing and wonderful!

It was lovely touching, bare skin and motion, eye contact and facial expressions, and it was way better than starting off kissing. We kissed later when we were sitting in a campchair loveseat around the fire. It was a cold night and we had to move around frequently so our front side wasn't too hot and our back side wasn't too cold. The rotisserie.
